Former England manager Sam Allardyce, famously known as "Big Sam," has hit out at Mohamed Salah for his behavior during Liverpool’s 1-0 victory against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night. After being substituted in the 77th minute for teenager Rio Ngumoha, Salah was seen appearing frustrated and smiling ironically on the bench—a reaction Allardyce labeled as "unprofessional."

"Don't act like a big baby in front of everyone. Go to the manager's office and talk to him privately," Allardyce said on the No Tippy Tappy Football podcast. The criticism comes alongside praise from Jamie Carragher for Ngumoha, who claimed the youngster showed more spark than both Salah and Gakpo. As Salah enters the final months of his contract in early 2026, his relationship with Arne Slot is under intense scrutiny.
