Al-Ahly defeated Ceramica Cleopatra 2-1 to reach the Egyptian Super Cup final on Sunday.

Al-Ahly took an early lead when Taher Mohamed Taher scored with a header after a mistake between Ceramica's defense and goalkeeper Mohamed Bassam.
In the last 45th minute of the match, Fakhri Rekai fired a powerful shot from inside the penalty area from the right side of goalkeeper Mostafa Shobeir.
In the second half, Taher received a cross from Moroccan international Yahya Attiyat Allah from inside the penalty area, placing it into goalkeeper Mohamed Bassam's net, scoring Al-Ahly's second goal in the last minute of the second half.
Al-Ahly will meet its traditional rival Zamalek next Thursday at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in Al-Jazira, Abu Dhabi.
Al-Ahly is looking to avenge its loss on penalties to Zamalek in the African Super Cup at the Kingdom Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on September 27.
