Abu Dhabi Business Week to hold its first session next December

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi and the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, is organizing the Abu Dhabi Business Week events, from December 4 to 6.

The first session of Abu Dhabi Business Week will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC Abu Dhabi) from December 4 to 6.
The first session of Abu Dhabi Business Week, held under the slogan “Make an Impact, Make a Difference”, reflects the rapid growth witnessed by Abu Dhabi and its commitment to developing an integrated and distinctive business ecosystem. The event will bring together more than 150 speakers and more than 8,000 participants from decision makers, CEOs, international investors and business leaders to explore the opportunities offered by Abu Dhabi’s business ecosystem and build strategic partnerships that will drive sustainable economic development in the emirate.
According to a statement issued on Saturday, Abu Dhabi Business Week will provide participants with the opportunity to explore new markets, gain valuable insights into business trends, and learn about strategies that will shape Abu Dhabi’s future and support its thriving economic ecosystem as an attractive capital for investment and capital, reflecting the emirate’s commitment.
Abu Dhabi Business Week will focus on strategies to develop the capabilities of the business ecosystem and facilitate its growth through public-private partnerships to drive economic growth and diversification.
Ahmed Jassim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said: “The Falcon Economy will enhance Abu Dhabi’s position as an emerging economic powerhouse, and Abu Dhabi Business Week will lead the next phase of growth and diversification within a vibrant and dynamic economic ecosystem, providing a platform for businesses to connect and collaborate.
He added: “Our sustainable development strategies focus on new high-growth sectors, and support the ability of the business ecosystem to provide opportunities for talent, investors and companies to thrive and expand globally. These strategies will drive growth in the non-oil sector, which currently contributes more than 55% of Abu Dhabi’s GDP, and is set to grow by 6.6% in Q2 2024. The remarkable 196% growth in the number of economic licenses issued over the past decade underscores the attractiveness of the emirate’s business environment. The specialised events organised by Abu Dhabi Business Week reflect the unique capabilities of Abu Dhabi’s economy, providing valuable insights to business leaders and entrepreneurs, enabling them to address challenges and capitalise on new opportunities.
The inaugural edition of Abu Dhabi Business Week will feature 10 specialised events, including the Abu Dhabi Business Summit, where key topics such as global investment trends, business clusters, sector regulation and public-private partnerships will be discussed.
Other events include the Abu Dhabi Procurement and Innovation Exchange Forum, the Global Manufacturing and Industrialisation Summit, the Family Business Forum, the Entrepreneurship Summit and the Youth Forum, where participants will discuss innovation, procurement, women and youth empowerment, and business and entrepreneurship, providing a variety of perspectives on key business topics such as innovation, procurement, women and youth empowerment, family businesses and entrepreneurship.
Abu Dhabi Business Week will provide delegates with a variety of opportunities to interact with institutions, companies and representatives through panel discussions, specialized workshops and an exhibition showcasing the latest innovations and services.
Abu Dhabi was recently recognized as the richest city in the world, with a sovereign wealth of US$1.7 trillion and the strongest sovereign credit rating in the GCC. Abu Dhabi is also a great place to start and do business in the Middle East and North Africa region.
