Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has said striker Lamine Yamal has recovered from a muscle strain he picked up while on international duty with Spain and is fit to play against Sevilla on Sunday in La Liga.

After Spain's 1-0 win in the Nations League last week, the 17-year-old was seen limping back to the team bus after being repeatedly tackled by Denmark players. To avoid the risk of injury, Yamal was subsequently left out of Spain's squad and also missed Tuesday's 3-0 win over Serbia.
'We will have our best line-up for the Sevilla game. Yamal can play. Yamal can play,' Flick told reporters on Saturday.
'I didn't ask for him to be in the national team,' added Flick, who coached Germany from 2021 to 2023. “I was on the other side (of national team training) and it’s not easy for a coach,” added Flick, who coached the German national team from 2021 to 2023.
“What the Spanish coach Luis de la Fuente did was right. Ramin has to be looked after, and when he has to rest he has to rest.”
Barcelona have won eight of their nine league games this season and are top of the Spanish league with 24 points.
Sevilla have yet to win away from home and are 12th with 12 points.
“Sevilla are a bold team. Their players enjoy their style of football and we have to find a way to play against them,” added Flick.
