Real Madrid is facing a significant legal setback as a Madrid court officially indicted the club's subsidiary, "Real Madrid Studio," for an alleged environmental crime related to "noise pollution." The ruling, issued after an 18-month investigation, stems from complaints by local residents who claimed that concerts hosted at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium significantly exceeded legal noise limits.

This judicial order marks another victory for neighborhood associations, who previously blocked the club's plans to build nearby parking garages. Although Real Madrid suspended all concerts in September 2024 to address the backlash, the court is moving forward, giving the club three days to appeal while prosecutors prepare detailed briefs on potential penalties. This case places the club’s lucrative event-hosting strategy under intense legal scrutiny.
