China Launches New Remote Sensing Satellite Constellation

In a new stride for its space program, China successfully launched a new group of remote sensing satellites, designated "Yaogan-40 03." The launch took place from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in northern China's Shanxi Province at 12:34 a.m. Beijing time on Sunday.

The satellites were carried into their designated orbits aboard a modified Long March-6 carrier rocket. This mission marks the 593rd launch of the Long March rocket series, showcasing China's continuous and rapid development in space technology.
The primary purpose of these satellites is to monitor the electromagnetic environment and conduct related technical tests, further enhancing China's capabilities in remote sensing and its various applications.
