China Successfully Launches a Test Satellite for Space-Based Internet Technology

China has announced the successful launch of a test satellite aimed at developing space-based internet technology. The launch took place on Tuesday morning from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in the northwest of the country.

The satellite was launched at 9:06 a.m. Beijing time aboard a Long March-2C carrier rocket, which was equipped with a Yuanzheng-1S upper stage. The satellite successfully entered its designated orbit, marking the 595th mission for the Long March carrier rocket series.
This step is part of China's ongoing efforts to advance its space infrastructure, particularly in the satellite communications sector, which is gaining increasing global importance.
