Chinese "Hongqi" Car Sales Rise 9.2% in Jan-Nov Period, Exceeding 420,000 Vehicles

FAW Group, a leading automaker in China, recently reported that its renowned premium brand, "Hongqi" (Red Flag), sold more than 420,000 vehicles in the first 11 months of 2025 (January - November), marking a year-on-year increase of 9.2%.

Key Performance Indicators:
November Sales: Sales exceeded 40,000 cars, maintaining stable growth momentum.
New Energy Vehicles (NEVs): NEV sales surged notably by 60.8% compared to the same period last year.
Luxury Sub-brand: The ultra-luxury sub-brand, "Hongqi Golden Sunflower," once again achieved monthly sales exceeding 100 units.
"Hongqi" (meaning "Red Flag") made its debut in 1958 as a landmark achievement of China's first Five-Year Plan (1953-1957).
Global Ambitions: Hongqi plans to intensify its efforts to solidify its position as a global automotive brand through an ambitious plan that includes:
Global Expansion: Extending its presence to more than 100 countries and regions over the next five years.
Service Network: Building a global network comprising 1,000 sales and service outlets.
Product Lineup: Launching a wider range of NEVs, energy-efficient models, and ultra-luxury models worldwide.
