Chinese political advisors call for boosting self-confidence, cultural self-strengthening

In a session of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference held today (Thursday), Chinese political advisors proposed improving public cultural service systems and enhancing communication between all media channels in the country to build cultural self-confidence and strengthen cultural identity.

These proposals were made during a session attended by Wang Huning, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Chairman of the National Committee of the CPPCC. Wang emphasized the importance of building cultural self-confidence as part of the national efforts to achieve comprehensive development.

The prominent political advisors highlighted the necessity of continually improving the scientific and cultural qualities of citizens and building an integrated system for preserving and inheriting cultural heritage. They stressed that enhancing general culture and cultural awareness plays a crucial role in achieving social and economic progress.

The meeting was chaired by He Baoxiang, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the CPPCC, who underscored the importance of cooperation among various parties to achieve common cultural goals. He noted that improving public cultural services requires joint efforts from all relevant parties to ensure tangible and sustainable results.

At the end of the session, the advisors called for strengthening cooperation among different media channels in the country to provide rich and diverse cultural content that contributes to building a cohesive and prosperous society. They emphasized that building cultural self-confidence requires a continuous commitment from all parties to realize China's vision for a bright and prosperous future.
