Chinese Premier Li Qiang expressed his readiness on Saturday to work with Italy to continue promoting "two-way opening" between the two nations.

Li's remarks came during his meeting with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, on the sidelines of the 20th G20 Summit being held this Saturday and Sunday.
Goals of Cooperation Between Beijing and Rome
Enhancing Interconnectivity: Li Qiang stated that the Chinese side is ready to enhance interconnectivity and synergy with the Italian side in markets and industries.
Balanced Trade: The goal of this cooperation is to promote the "optimal and balanced development of bilateral trade."
