Egyptian authorities in the city of El Alamein have issued an arrest warrant for Essam El-Hadary, the local national team’s goalkeeping coach, and his wife. The decision follows a formal complaint filed by a female engineer who claims she was bitten by the couple's dog.

The incident occurred on a beach in a tourist village on the North Coast. According to the police report, the fierce dog, owned by El-Hadary and his wife, suddenly got loose while the wife was on her phone. The dog then attacked the engineer, causing her several injuries.
The engineer stated that she saw Essam El-Hadary trying to pull the dog away from her after she was bitten. She was immediately taken to the hospital, where she received an anti-rabies shot and treatment for her wounds. After her condition stabilized, she filed a report with the El Alamein police station, accusing El-Hadary and his wife of negligence.
A medical report from El Alamein Specialized Hospital confirmed the engineer had suffered a "dog bite." The report detailed that she received the first dose of the rabies vaccine and other medications, with a recommendation to complete the remaining doses according to the treatment plan.
Based on the filed complaint and the medical documents, the Public Prosecution has initiated an investigation into the incident. Authorities are currently reviewing the details and medical reports as they proceed with the legal process.
