The Confederation of African Football (CAF) and German company Puma have revealed the official match ball for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco. The ball, named "Eitri," has stunned fans with its design, which blends Moroccan heritage with advanced technology.

"Eitri": Moroccan Zellige Art on a Football
Name and Symbolism: The ball is named "Eitri," a term inspired by the eight-pointed star found in the Moroccan flag.
Design and Heritage: "Eitri" draws its design from the ancient Moroccan Zellige art, known for its precise geometric patterns, symbolizing the unity and passion of African football across the continent.
Colours: The ball features the colours of the Moroccan flag (red and green), a combination that embodies passion, hope, and pride while honouring the national identity of the host country.
Technology: "Eitri" utilizes Puma's advanced Orbita 6 technology, ensuring flight stability and accuracy in passing and shooting, making it suitable for high-level competitions.
Debut Date
The official match ball, "Eitri," will make its debut in the opening match of the Africa Cup of Nations on December 21, 2025, in Morocco. The ball will be launched in regional markets with a recommended retail price of $150.
