The Israeli army announced that it activated sirens in the Dimona region of the Negev after a suspected drone infiltration. According to the Israeli website "Ynet," the drone was launched by the Houthi group from Yemen and was spotted flying near the Israeli Dimona nuclear reactor.

The Israeli army is currently investigating the details of the incident. Before the sirens were activated, local residents reported hearing the sound of several interceptor missiles launched in an attempt to shoot down the drone.
This incident comes shortly after the Israeli Air Force announced it had shot down another drone launched by the Houthis from Yemen over southern Israel, near Ramon Airport.
