Javier Mascherano, the coach of Inter Miami, revealed that Argentine star Lionel Messi experienced hamstring pain during the team's match against Club Necaxa in the Leagues Cup tournament. This news comes after Inter Miami's tense 5-4 victory on penalties.

Mascherano: We Don't Know the Severity of the Injury Yet
In a post-match press conference, Mascherano stated that Messi "felt a pain in his hamstring." He couldn't provide details on the severity of the injury, noting that the full extent would only be known after a medical evaluation the following day.
Mascherano explained, "It is likely that he has some issue. The injury might not be serious because he was not in severe pain, but he did feel pain." These remarks have heightened the concerns of Inter Miami fans and Messi's supporters worldwide, especially since this is not his first injury this season.
Messi's Season Record and Previous Injuries
It is worth noting that this isn't the first time Messi has been injured since joining Inter Miami; he missed the beginning of the season due to an ankle injury. Despite these setbacks, Messi has had an exceptional season, participating in 30 matches across all competitions, where he has scored 19 goals and provided 9 assists.
