The October Gardens City Authority has officially decided to reclaim the land allocated to the Zamalek club. The decision was made due to the club's lack of seriousness in implementing the planned project and the expiration of the specified timeframe outlined in the ministerial decree for the land's allocation. This action follows a series of official warnings issued by the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) to the club's management, cautioning them that the land would be withdrawn if the construction was not completed within the set deadlines.

Land Details and Sovereignty
According to informed sources within NUCA, the decision to reclaim the 129-acre plot was made after it became clear that the club had not carried out any construction on the land since it was officially allocated and handed over to the club's management. These sources also clarified that the decision to reclaim the land is a "sovereign" one, not an internal decision by NUCA's board. The role of the city authority and NUCA is limited to executing this decision. The land has now been officially repossessed by the city authority.
