The Saudi Roshn League winter transfer window has officially closed, leaving fans in shock after a series of high-profile moves. Al-Hilal emerged as the undisputed winner, pulling off the biggest coup by signing French star Karim Benzema from rivals Al-Ittihad. Al-Hilal revamped its squad with 7 new faces while parting ways with veterans like Ali Al-Bulaihi and João Cancelo. Al-Ittihad quickly filled the void by signing Moroccan striker Youssef En-Nesyri.

Al-Shabab was the busiest club, securing 7 prominent players including Al-Bulaihi and Haroune Camara. Meanwhile, mid-table clubs like Al-Nejmeh made headlines by signing Egyptian midfielder Nabil "Dunga" Emad. While Al-Nassr and Al-Ahli chose a more conservative approach, the massive "cleansing" and rebuilding across the league signal a fiercely competitive second half of the season.
