The residence of Chelsea and England star Raheem Sterling was the target of a fresh attempted break-in and robbery earlier this week, an incident that has raised significant concern, particularly as the player and his family were inside the home at the time.

The incident occurred at Sterling's house located in Berkshire, where the 30-year-old forward was present with his children when the attempted burglary took place. Despite the gravity of the situation, a spokesperson for the player confirmed that Sterling and his family are safe and well.
British media reports indicated that Chelsea FC immediately offered support to Sterling and his family following the event.
In an official statement, the player's spokesperson said: "Raheem Sterling was the victim of an attempted burglary at his home earlier this week. We can also confirm that he and his children were present in the house at the time." The spokesperson added: "Despite this incident that threatens the player's safety, we are pleased to confirm that he and his family are fine."
This marks the second attempted burglary targeting Sterling's home, following a similar incident during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, which forced him to return to England at the time.
It is noted that Sterling, a four-time Premier League winner with his former club Manchester City, has not featured in any matches for Chelsea this year, having spent the previous season on loan at Arsenal.
