Sisi: Egypt Defeated Terrorism and Remains an Impregnable Shield Against Conspiracies

On Wednesday, marking the 73rd anniversary of the July 23, 1952 Revolution, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi declared that the Egyptian army has transformed into an indomitable force, an impregnable shield and a sharp sword. This transformation, he asserted, enabled the defeat of terrorism and purified the land of Kinanah (Egypt) from its clutches. El-Sisi unequivocally affirmed that Egypt will remain resilient and immune to all conspiracies and seditions that may target its stability and unity.

السيسي: مصر انتصرت على الإرهاب وستظل درعًا منيعًا ضد المؤامرات

In his address on this historic occasion, the President highlighted Egypt's clear leadership over recent years in shaping its present and confidently envisioning its future. This includes a comprehensive modernization of the armed forces, positioning them at the forefront of nations capable of protecting their homeland. The efforts extended beyond merely winning the war against terrorism and purging the country of its remnants; they also encompassed an unprecedented urban boom. Slums were eradicated fundamentally, modern residential areas were constructed, and integrated smart cities were established, keeping pace with the latest global developments.

El-Sisi added that Egypt's infrastructure has witnessed tremendous and unprecedented qualitative leaps, contributing to an improved quality of life for citizens. The ambitious "Decent Life" project was also launched, aiming to provide a civilized and stable environment for approximately 60 million citizens across the republic, alongside numerous other remarkable achievements across all parts of the nation.

The President emphasized that Egypt, which refused to allow its citizens to live in unsafe and dangerous slum areas, will never abandon its responsibility to provide suitable housing for every eligible person. It will not permit any citizen to live in a state of anxiety about their future and shelter.

El-Sisi explained that the country has achieved significant and diverse accomplishments at a time when other nations were collapsing, entities disintegrating, and crises escalating in various parts of the world. However, Egypt, by the grace of God Almighty and thanks to the awareness and understanding of its great people, has remained a haven of security and stability, a guaranteed humanitarian refuge. Approximately 10 million people from various countries have sought refuge there, presenting a unique model of humanity and responsibility to the world. Despite continuous pressures, Egypt has never abandoned its national and humanitarian responsibilities. By the grace of God, and through the will and awareness of this great people, Egypt has been able to withstand and endure hardships, preserving the nation's stability and embarking on a path of construction in a strong national epic, with unwavering determination and resilient hands.

The President concluded his speech by emphasizing that "Egypt will remain impregnable with its cohesive internal front, resilient against conspiracies and seditions, and aware of everything being plotted around it." He expressed his firm conviction that this nation, God willing, and with the strength and patience of its people, is capable of overcoming all challenges and surmounting difficulties, regardless of their forms or sources.
