The American billionaire Elon Musk mocked his old rival, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, after the latter established a new startup in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Details of the New Company and Musk’s Reaction
"Prometheus" Foundation: The "New York Times" reported that Bezos, along with other figures, founded the AI company "Prometheus."
Funding and Staffing: The startup managed to raise a massive $6.2 billion in funding and hired over 100 employees, some of whom were recruited from major rival companies like Google, Meta, and OpenAI (the developer of "ChatGPT"). Vic Bajaj, a former director at Google, will serve as co-CEO.
Musk’s Sarcasm: Musk, who founded his own AI company "xAI," commented on the news in a post on his "X" platform, saying: "Unreal" with a laughing emoji, followed by the word "Copy" and a cat emoji.
A History of Rivalry and Conflict
The rivalry and conflict between Musk and Bezos span many years, particularly in the space sector:
2013: Musk accused Bezos’ company "Blue Origin" of protesting to prevent Musk's "SpaceX" from gaining exclusive use of NASA's launch pad at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
2019: Musk called Bezos a "copycat" in response to Amazon's plans to launch over 3,000 satellites for internet provision, shortly after SpaceX launched its own satellites.
Bezos' Criticisms: Bezos, for his part, focused on criticizing Musk's companies, including his later objection to NASA awarding a massive $2.9 billion contract to SpaceX to transport humans to the Moon.
