80 Days of Violations: Gaza Media Office Reports 969 Israeli Breaches of the Ceasefire Agreement

The Government Media Office in Gaza released a comprehensive report this Sunday, documenting a staggering 969 violations of the ceasefire agreement by Israeli forces between October 10 and December 28. These breaches have resulted in the deaths of 418 Palestinians and injuries to 1,141 others. The violations include direct gunfire at civilians, military incursions into residential areas, and the systematic demolition of 162 buildings and institutions, undermining the core tenets of the truce.

The report highlights a severe humanitarian crisis, as Israel has failed to meet the protocols of the agreement. Only 42% of the scheduled aid (19,764 out of 48,000 trucks) was allowed entry, while fuel deliveries plummeted to just 10% of the agreed quota. This shortage has crippled hospitals and sanitation facilities. Furthermore, the denial of shelter materials amidst harsh winter storms has led to the death of children from extreme cold and the collapse of damaged buildings. The Media Office called upon the international community and President Donald Trump to intervene immediately to end this policy of "subjugation through starvation" and ensure the full implementation of the humanitarian protocol.
