A Royal Welcome for Trump in Britain: "Long Live the King!"

In an unprecedented second state visit to the UK, former U.S. President Donald Trump received an extraordinary royal welcome in Britain, a level of honor no other American president has ever been given. The visit was marked by lavish ceremonies, including a procession in a horse-drawn carriage, a formal dinner at the legendary Windsor Castle, and a joint aerial display.

Unprecedented Security and Military Display

The visit is accompanied by extensive security measures to keep Trump away from potential protests, as opinion polls indicate his popularity in Britain is limited. A highlight of the visit was the military reception, involving 1,300 personnel and 120 horses, making it the largest in the modern history of a state visit. Trump was received by King Charles III and Queen Camilla, along with Prince William and his wife, Catherine.

Trump is scheduled to conclude his first day with a formal dinner where both he and the King will deliver speeches, and on the second day, he will meet with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
