The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, asserted that the Israeli occupation bears full responsibility for the direct clashes with Al-Qassam fighters in Rafah, who are defending themselves within an area under Israeli control.

Al-Qassam's Message to the Enemy and Mediators
No Surrender: Al-Qassam posted a message on 'X', stating: "There is no principle of surrender and handing oneself over to the enemy in the dictionary of Al-Qassam Brigades."
Mediators' Responsibility: Al-Qassam called on mediators to fulfill their responsibilities by "finding a solution to ensure the continuation of the ceasefire and prevent the enemy from using false excuses to breach it."
Exploiting Violations: The Brigades warned against the enemy exploiting clashes or breaches to "target innocents and civilians in Gaza."
Details on Body Retrieval
Complex Conditions: Al-Qassam noted that the body retrieval process in the past period occurred under complex and extremely difficult circumstances, while affirming commitment to the agreement.
Need for Equipment: They stressed that retrieving the remaining bodies requires additional technical crews and equipment.
Latest Retrieval: A leading source in Al-Qassam confirmed on Saturday the retrieval of the body of Israeli captive officer Hadar Goldin from Rafah, along with the bodies of 6 martyrs from the same location.
Remaining Captives: Only 5 bodies of Israeli captives remain in the Gaza Strip, which Al-Qassam continues efforts to locate despite "Israeli obstacles."
