Breakthrough in Florida: Zelensky Signals "Real Result" in Sight to End Four-Year Conflict

President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Monday that negotiations to end the nearly four-year war with Russia are "very close to a real result." This optimistic shift follows high-stakes diplomatic shuttle missions in Florida, where Ukrainian negotiator Rustem Umerov and European representatives met with U.S. envoys to refine a sustainable peace framework.

Simultaneously, Russian envoy Kirill Dmitriev, representing President Vladimir Putin, held separate discussions with American officials in Florida, highlighting a significant dual-track diplomatic effort. Central to these talks is a 20-point peace plan proposed by the U.S. administration. Initially criticized for favoring Moscow, the plan has undergone weeks of rigorous adjustments to align with Ukrainian and European interests, leading Zelensky to praise the collaborative efforts with the U.S. as "worthwhile."
