In a diplomatic scene rich with significance and reinforcing Egypt's leadership in regional peace-building, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has officially renewed his invitation to U.S. President Donald Trump to visit Egypt and attend the formal signing of the Gaza ceasefire agreement. This invitation was extended during El-Sisi’s meeting with Trump’s envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, at the Presidential Palace, where both sides praised the strategic cooperation and Egypt’s pivotal role in reaching the agreement.

During the meeting, El-Sisi welcomed the American administration's efforts toward peace, expressing his ambition for a swift signing of the agreement to achieve a historic reconciliation that reflects the will of the region’s peoples.
