Casualties and Destruction at Construction Sites Israel’s Magen David Adom (MDA) ambulance service reported that a man died from wounds sustained by falling missile shrapnel. Two others were injured at a construction site in central Israel, with one in critical condition. According to The Times of Israel, there are ongoing investigations into whether the fallen debris included cluster munitions or fragments from intercepted ballistic missiles. The intensity of the salvos has challenged the Iron Dome and Arrow defense systems, leading to debris falling in populated urban areas.

Air Raid Sirens and Regional Panic Sirens wailed across central Israel throughout the night, sending millions of residents into bomb shelters. While the IDF claimed multiple successful interceptions, the sheer volume of the "Seventh Wave" ensured that shrapnel reached the ground, causing structural damage to residential buildings. This escalation follows Iran's appointment of Mojtaba Khamenei as the new Supreme Leader, signaling a defiant and aggressive military posture by the new leadership in Tehran against Israel and its allies.
