Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Sunday that the "Gaza plan" being developed with US President Donald Trump's team "is not yet finished," a day ahead of their scheduled meeting at the White House.

Speaking to the American news network "Fox News," Netanyahu stated: "We are working on it; it's not finished yet, but we are working with President Trump's team as we speak." The Israeli Prime Minister outlined the comprehensive ambitions of the plan, emphasizing: "I hope we can achieve that because we want to free our hostages, we want to get rid of Hamas rule and demilitarize them and demilitarize Gaza, and build a new future for the people of Gaza and Israelis alike and for the entire region."
Meanwhile, the American news site "Axios" reported that US Middle East Envoy Steve Witkoff and the President's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, were expected to meet with Netanyahu in the US on Sunday.
This three-way meeting comes as a critical effort to bridge the remaining gaps regarding the American plan to end the war in Gaza, which, according to an "Axios" correspondent in Israel citing another source, consists of 21 points. Earlier, the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported that Witkoff and Kushner had informed Netanyahu that Trump was "interested in stopping the war on the Gaza Strip." However, the same Israeli outlet quoted close associates of Netanyahu as saying that the plan includes several points the Israeli Prime Minister strongly opposes.
