A significant and pivotal development has been announced by the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, concerning the Turkish military cargo plane that recently went down. In an official statement made on Wednesday, President Erdoğan confirmed the crucial news that the black box of the doomed aircraft has been recovered. The plane had tragically crashed near the shared borders of Azerbaijan and Georgia. This recovery marks a decisive step towards launching comprehensive and in-depth investigations to uncover the true causes and all the circumstances surrounding this tragic accident.

According to the details reported by the RIA Novosti news agency, the Turkish President emphasized that the discovery of the black box will provide critically important data necessary to determine what transpired in the final moments before the plane’s crash. Erdoğan also addressed the initial casualty count in his statement, reporting that the bodies of 19 servicemen who perished in the grievous accident have been found. The Turkish President added that intensive efforts are still underway to search for the last remaining body that has not yet been located, underscoring the serious continuation of search and rescue operations.
