One person was killed and three others were injured in a combined attack (ramming and stabbing) that occurred at the Gush Etzion junction in the southern West Bank on Tuesday. The Israeli military announced that the perpetrators of the attack were "neutralized" at the scene.

Casualties: The "Magen David Adom" (Red Star of David) ambulance service announced the death of a man in his thirties. Their teams also provided treatment to three wounded individuals:
A woman in her forties (in serious condition).
A man aged about 30 (in moderate condition).
A 15-year-old boy (in moderate condition).
Neutralization of Perpetrators: The Israeli military confirmed in a later statement that its forces had "neutralized two terrorists" at the location.
Explosives: The military reported that "several explosive materials were found in the vehicle" used by the attackers, noting that its forces are conducting searches, setting up roadblocks, and cordoning off the area.
Context of Tension in the West Bank
Violence has significantly escalated in the West Bank, which has been occupied by Israel since 1967, following the Hamas attack on southern Israel on October 7, 2023, which triggered the war in the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian Casualties: Israeli forces and settlers have killed more than one thousand Palestinians in the West Bank since October 2023, according to figures from the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
