In a coordinated strike on Monday, March 30, 2026, approximately 10 rockets and missiles launched from Lebanon and Iran targeted the Haifa Bay area. A direct hit was reported on the Bazan Oil Refinery, specifically striking a fuel tanker and an industrial structure, leading to a large fire and thick black smoke. While the Ministry of Environmental Protection ruled out a hazardous material leak, the "Bazan" company confirmed that critical external infrastructure was damaged.

The attack also caused structural damage to buildings in Kiryat Ata and Shafa-Amr, resulting in localized power outages. Military analysts assessed that one of the Iranian ballistic missiles carried a cluster warhead, dispersing submunitions over a wider area, which caused multiple impact points and left at least two people injured.
