The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have issued a stern warning regarding what they term "grave cooperation" between the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) and Hezbollah. Following "precision strikes" in the southern city of Sidon, the IDF announced the elimination of three Hezbollah operatives allegedly involved in rebuilding military infrastructure and planning attacks against Israel.

The IDF spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, claimed that preliminary investigations identified one of the deceased as a dual operative who served in the Lebanese Army’s Intelligence unit while simultaneously acting as a Hezbollah member. Another casualty was reportedly part of Hezbollah’s air defense unit in the Sidon sector. Israel characterized these activities as a "serious violation of understandings" between the two nations, reasserting its commitment to neutralizing any threats along its northern border regardless of institutional affiliations.
