Amid news that Tehran has received a message regarding the resumption of nuclear negotiations, Iran has once again sent a positive signal to the United States through former Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi.

Renewed Call and Denunciation of Collapse
Denial of Sabotaging Talks: Araqchi reiterated that Iran did not torpedo previous negotiations nor did it destroy diplomatic avenues for resolving the nuclear file. He posted on X: "The one who blew up the negotiation table is the one who did it," meaning the one who halted diplomatic solutions.
Blaming Israel: Araqchi suggested that Israel targeted the diplomatic solution due to its genuine fear of the failure of the "project of demonizing Iran."
Call to Trump: Araqchi addressed US President Donald Trump, saying: "It's not too late to reverse course," noting that Trump had previously promised to end Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's deceiving of former Presidents Obama and Biden.
Refuting Nuclear Pretexts for War
Reliable International Testimonies: Araqchi argued that over the past 48 hours, the "vile lie" claiming that Israeli and US bombing of Iran was motivated by an "imminent nuclear threat" was exposed.
IAEA Chief's Statement: Araqchi cited the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, who explicitly declared that "Iran is not developing, and has not been developing, nuclear weapons."
Omani Mediator's Confirmation: Araqchi added that the Omani Foreign Minister, Badr Albusaidi (a trusted mediator for both Iran and the US), clarified that "there was never any Iranian nuclear threat" before Israel launched its raids on Iranian territory last June.
Context of the Statements
Calls for Resuming Talks: These statements follow the Iranian government spokeswoman, Fatemeh Mohajerani, revealing on Sunday that Tehran had received calls to resume talks.
Omani Stance: The statements also came after the Omani Foreign Minister, Badr Albusaidi, affirmed during the Manama Dialogue conference his country's desire to see the resumption of negotiations between Iran and the US, stressing that the Iranian side did not blow up the nuclear talks, but rather Israel, which attacked the Iranian interior.
Crisis Background: It is noted that the Iranian and US sides had held 5 rounds of indirect talks on the nuclear file. As the Iranian delegation prepared for the sixth round, Israel launched a 12-day war last June, targeting Iranian military and nuclear sites and assassinating dozens of nuclear scientists.
