Iran Sets Conditions for Talks with Trump: "Stop Threats and Excessive Demands," Says FM Araghchi

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi issued a firm ultimatum to the United States on Wednesday, stating that negotiations will not yield results as long as Washington continues its military threats and "excessive demands." Meanwhile, the internal crackdown has reached unprecedented levels. Rights organizations report that at least 41,880 people have been detained since the protests began, with a near-total internet blackout entering its third week. As the USS Abraham Lincoln maintains its position in the region, Tehran is attempting to balance its defiant external rhetoric with a massive internal security operation aimed at quelling the deadliest uprising in decades.
