Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian affirmed the government's firm determination to provide full support for the development of the country's peaceful nuclear industry. This came during his visit to the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), where he met with senior industry managers and was briefed on the latest achievements in health, therapy, and radiopharmaceuticals production.

Emphasizing Peaceful Programs and Denying Accusations
Government Support and Global Market Aspiration: Pezeshkian emphasized that the government will continue its comprehensive support to strengthen and enhance peaceful nuclear capabilities, adding: "With the efforts of our scientists and careful planning, we can secure a larger share in the global market."
Denial of Nuclear Weapon Production: The Iranian President stated that his country "has repeatedly announced that nuclear weapon production is not among its programs, and they know that well, but they use these lies to prevent the country's progress."
Separating 'Nuclear' from the Bomb: Pezeshkian expressed regret that propaganda directed against peaceful nuclear activities has led the public to associate the term "nuclear" with the production of the atomic bomb. He clarified that the "nuclear industry is a vast scientific and industrial system, and what is known as a nuclear weapon is only a small part of it."
Development Goal: He stressed that the goal of developing this industry is to "meet the needs of the people and raise their level of welfare, not weapon manufacturing."
Importance of the Nuclear Industry and Iran's Future
Wide Applications: Pezeshkian highlighted the extensive uses of nuclear technology in health, industry, agriculture, and environment, noting that the achievements aim to improve citizens' health and serve society.
Reliance on National Competencies: He praised Iranian youth and elites, asserting that they "are capable of solving the country's problems and meeting its needs" and are moving strongly on the path of technological advancement.
Government Promise: The President concluded by affirming the government's resolve, stating: "We will rebuild nuclear facilities with greater strength," and adding that the country's future depends on progress at the frontier of knowledge and turning toward modern technologies.
