An Israeli drone strike targeted a civilian vehicle in the town of Doueir, Nabatieh district, killing two 22-year-old men: Lebanese national Samer Hattit and Egyptian national Ahmed Ramadan. According to Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA), the vehicle was struck by three guided missiles on Monday night, causing it to burst into flames. Both victims were civilians working in local family businesses.

The attack marks a fresh violation of the hostilities cessation agreement signed in November 2024. Despite the truce, Israel continues to launch near-daily strikes across South Lebanon while maintaining a military presence at several border points. The incident in Doueir follows another fatal strike in Tyre on Monday, raising international concerns over the safety of civilians and foreign residents amidst the fragile ceasefire.
