Israeli Reports: Gaza Militia Fighters Surrender to Hamas; Group Open to Freezing Weapons as Part of Ceasefire

The Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation (KAN) reported that members of armed militias inside the Gaza Strip have begun surrendering themselves to the Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas".

This development coincides with Hamas's announcement of its readiness to discuss the future of its arms arsenal as part of a potential ceasefire.
Hamas Readiness to Discuss Weapons:
Freezing the Arsenal: Basem Naim, a member of Hamas's political bureau, stated in an interview with the Associated Press from Doha, Qatar, that the Resistance is ready to discuss "freezing or storing" its weapons arsenal as part of a ceasefire agreement with Israel.
Comprehensive Approach: Naim added: "We are open to a comprehensive approach in order to avoid further escalation or to avoid any other clashes or explosions."
Openness: The Hamas official stressed that the Resistance is "very open" regarding what should be done with its weapons.
