Jeddah Consultative Summit: Gulf Unity Against "Missile Terrorism" and Full Solidarity with the UAE

Representing UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, attended the 19th Consultative Summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) leaders in Jeddah on Tuesday. The summit addressed the grave implications of recent Iranian missile attacks, labeling them "brutal and terrorist" acts that targeted civilian infrastructure and national sovereignty across several Gulf and Arab nations.

Indivisible Security: A Unified GCC Front Participating leaders condemned Iran’s "flagrant violations" of international law and the UN Charter, reaffirming the right of targeted states to respond to protect their territories and citizens. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed emphasized that GCC security is "indivisible," asserting that any threat to the sovereignty of one member state is a direct strike against the entire Gulf system. He expressed deep gratitude for the brotherly support shown to the UAE following the recent hostilities.

Commitment to Coordination and Regional Peace The summit called for the highest levels of coordination to combat extremism and terrorism while safeguarding regional stability. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed reiterated the UAE's steadfast commitment to the GCC's pivotal role in fostering sustainable development and security. He underscored the importance of advancing toward a lasting peace that serves the interests of the region's peoples amidst these unprecedented geopolitical challenges.
