Maduro Defies Trump’s Naval Blockade: "Venezuela Will Never Be Colonized"

Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro delivered a defiant speech early Thursday, slamming U.S. foreign policy as "colonialist and warmongering." His remarks came in direct response to President Donald Trump’s executive order implementing a total naval blockade on sanctioned oil tankers heading to or from Venezuela. Maduro asserted that Caracas would remain sovereign and continue its international trade despite Washington's attempts at "regime change."

In a scathing retort, Maduro warned that any "puppet government" imposed by the U.S. would not last more than 48 hours in power, highlighting the strength of the Bolivarian revolution against American military mobilization in the region.
