"Naftali Bennett Warns: Israel’s Status in America is Collapsing and It's Seen as a 'Pariah State'"

Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett issued a stark warning on Tuesday, stating that Israel's standing in the United States is "collapsing" and that it has become established as a "pariah state." His remarks, reported by Israeli media, highlight what he perceives as a deep strategic crisis for the nation.

"نفتالي بينيت يحذر: مكانة إسرائيل في أمريكا تنهار وتترسخ كدولة 'منبوذة

Bennett explained that this erosion of support is not limited to one political party. While he acknowledged that "the Democratic Party has not been with us for a while," he noted that Israel is "now losing the Republican Party." He pointed to a growing number of conservatives in the U.S., including within the "MAGA" movement, who are distancing themselves from Israel.

The shift in opinion, according to Bennett, extends beyond political circles. He emphasized that the "young American generation, even among Republicans, has become much less sympathetic to Israel." He directly attributed this change to the media narrative surrounding the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, stating that "the campaign on famine in Gaza has become a reality for most of the American public and influencers."

Bennett concluded that the prevailing view of Israel among Americans is now that it is a "burden on the United States," representing a fundamental shift in the long-standing relationship between the two countries. He placed the blame for this decline squarely on the current Israeli government, stating that it "does not appreciate the magnitude of the catastrophe." He also sharply criticized Israel's public relations efforts, lamenting, "we have no media apparatus and there are no answers for those who ask."

Furthermore, Bennett described the "chatter of some ministers in Netanyahu's government" as "destructive and will follow our soldiers in passport lines around the world," alluding to the potential legal and international consequences of their statements.
