Operation Lion’s Roar: Israel Cripples 300 Iranian Defense Systems and Hits Nuclear-Linked Sites

The IDF spokesperson announced on Thursday that Israeli forces have achieved "air superiority" over Iran as part of the ongoing "Operation Lion’s Roar." According to the military briefing, the Israeli Air Force has successfully dismantled Iran's multi-layered defense shield, destroying or disabling approximately 300 air defense systems and ballistic missiles. This operational success has cleared the path for Israeli jets to strike deep into Iranian territory, including a concentrated campaign against strategic assets in Tehran.

The IDF confirmed that strikes have now expanded to include sites linked to Iran's nuclear program and strategic weapon manufacturing facilities. In Tehran alone, over 220 targets have been hit, including the Quds Force special operations headquarters in the Savaria district, which Israel claims manages regional proxy funding. Simultaneously, the military reported the "elimination" of several high-ranking Iranian officials. On the northern front, the IDF acknowledged that two soldiers were wounded by a Hezbollah anti-tank missile but reiterated that the displacement of Lebanese civilians north of the Litani River is necessary to clear the area for imminent, heavy-duty strikes against Hezbollah infrastructure.
