The U.S. Department of Defense officially identified on Wednesday the remaining two of six American soldiers killed in a drone strike on a U.S. military facility at Shuaiba Port, Kuwait. The final victims were named as Sergeant Robert Marzan (54) of Sacramento, California, and Major Jeffrey O’Brien (45) of Indianola, Iowa. According to the Pentagon, Sgt. Marzan died instantly at the scene when the drone impacted the command center last Sunday.

Most of the fallen soldiers served with the 103rd Sustainment Command based in Des Moines, Iowa, a vital component of the Army's global logistics network. As the conflict intensifies, the Trump administration has warned of the potential for further casualties. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth struck a defiant tone on Wednesday, asserting that the United States is fully prepared to "sustain this fight as long as necessary," despite the growing human cost and the increasing frequency of attacks on U.S. strategic assets across the Middle East.
