Russia Announces Destruction of 8 Ukrainian Drones and Heavy Military Transport Equipment

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today that its forces successfully repelled a large-scale Ukrainian attack, during which 8 drones were shot down overnight. In a statement, the ministry said that Russian air defense systems "intercepted and destroyed 8 Ukrainian drones," noting that these drones were downed over several Russian provinces. The drones were distributed as follows: 3 over Rostov province, 3 over Bryansk province, and one over each of the Voronezh and Kursk provinces.

Targeting of Ukrainian Heavy Military Transport Equipment
In a related development, Vladimir Rogov, a member of the administration council of the Russia-controlled Zaporizhzhia province and head of the "We Are With Russia" movement, confirmed that Russian forces dealt a significant blow to Ukrainian military logistics in Zaporizhzhia city. Rogov told the Sputnik news agency that the strike specifically targeted heavy cargo vehicle containers and a maintenance base, in addition to the headquarters of the Zaporizhzhia Automobile Plant, which the enemy was using for military purposes. He added that these containers were disguised as civilian targets, but Russian forces were able to quickly discover them with the help of local residents. The strike also targeted a military depot located in a building that was formerly a gymnasium.
Power Outage in the Kirovohrad Region of Ukraine
Meanwhile, the governor of Ukraine's central Kirovohrad region, Andriy Raikovych, stated that a Russian drone attack overnight caused partial power outages and disrupted rail traffic in the area. Raikovych wrote on his Telegram account that electricity was partially cut off from the regional center and 44 residential areas. In the same context, Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba noted that Russian forces had targeted railway infrastructure in their night attack, without specifying the exact location.
