Russian Forces Announce Control Over Settlements in Kharkiv and Donetsk Regions

The Russian Ministry of Defence announced today, Sunday, that its forces have managed to seize control of additional territories and settlements in the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions.

Control Over Kharkiv and Donetsk:

• Kharkiv Region: The Ministry stated that the Russian "West" Group of Forces managed to seize control of the village of Kucherovka in the Kharkiv area. It added that "Zapad" units continued to destroy the encircled enemy group on the left bank of the Oskil River, and the liberation of the village resulted from "active operations" by the 6th Army assault groups.

• Donetsk Region: In a separate statement, the Ministry said that Russian forces completed their control over the town of Rivnopil in the Donetsk region, eastern Ukraine.

Ukrainian Losses (According to Russian Statement):

• The Russian Defence Ministry indicated that Ukrainian forces lost "more than 220 soldiers" in the area of operations of the West Group of Forces (near the Oskil River).

• Ukrainian forces also lost "up to 210 soldiers" in the area of operations of the North Group of Forces units.
