Russian Forces Seize Kivsharivka in Kharkiv; Moscow Claims Breakthroughs Across Donetsk Defense Lines

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Sunday, March 29, 2026, that its "Zapad" (West) task force has captured the village of Kivsharivka in the Kharkiv region following intensive offensive operations. Simultaneously, the Russian "Yug" (South) group reportedly secured fortified positions near several key towns in the Donetsk People's Republic, including Kramatorsk and Konstantinovka.

Reported Casualties and Equipment Loss:
According to the military briefing, Ukrainian forces suffered heavy losses, including approximately 615 personnel killed or wounded across various fronts. Material losses reportedly include one tank, four armored fighting vehicles, artillery pieces, an electronic warfare station, and the destruction of nine ammunition and supply depots.
