Russian Forces Seize New Town 'Verbove' and Intensify Drone and Missile Attacks by 38%

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced a new military gain today, Wednesday, stating that its forces have secured control over a new town in the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine.

In a detailed statement, the Ministry specified that the Russian Army had taken control of the town of Verbove, noting that its forces advanced along several axes within the special Russian military operation zone.
Unprecedented Surge in Drone and Missile Strikes:
Separately, an analysis conducted by Agence France-Presse (AFP) and published on Wednesday revealed that Russia significantly intensified its long-range attacks with drones and missiles against Ukraine during September. This escalation occurs amidst stalled peace negotiations between the two nations.
According to AFP's analysis of daily reports from the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia launched 5,638 long-range drones and 185 missiles on Ukraine in night-time attacks throughout September. This figure represents a 38% increase compared to the statistics from August.
In related military operations, a pro-Russian source in the Mykolaiv region of southern Ukraine reported today, Wednesday, that the Russian Army destroyed a ship repair facility at the port of Izmail in the Odesa region. Conversely, the Russian Defense Ministry stated that it had shot down and destroyed 20 Ukrainian drones during the night hours.
