Satellite images have revealed that Israeli forces have engaged in widespread and continued destruction of structures within the Gaza Strip. The imagery shows the demolition of over 1,500 buildings in areas that remained under Israeli military control since the ceasefire agreement with Hamas commenced on October 10.

The images, the latest taken on November 8 and reviewed by "BBC Verify," indicate that entire neighborhoods under Israeli army control were systematically razed to the ground in less than a month. Experts suggest that these actions appear to be organized demolition operations.
Violation of Ceasefire Terms:
This sustained destruction raises serious questions about the violation of the ceasefire agreement, which is based on a 20-point peace plan announced by US President Donald Trump. The plan explicitly stipulates that "all military operations, including aerial and artillery bombardment, will be suspended." Despite Trump’s subsequent assertion that "the war has ended," the demolitions continue.
When questioned about these findings, a spokesperson for the Israeli Army told "BBC Verify" that the military acts "in accordance with the framework of the ceasefire agreement," without offering specific details about the demolition operations.
Destruction Beyond the "Yellow Line":
The BBC analysis focused on areas situated behind the so-called "Yellow Line," the boundary to which Israel agreed to withdraw its forces under the October agreement. Utilizing an advanced algorithm to track radar image changes, the team manually counted the destroyed structures.
The images clearly show that many of the destroyed buildings in areas like Abasan al-Kabira east of Khan Younis, and eastern Rafah, were undamaged prior to the ceasefire. Lana Khalil, a displaced resident from Abasan, confirmed that her area transformed from a "garden full of farms and vegetables" into rubble after the "Israeli army demolished everything." Demolition activities also extended to eastern Gaza City, in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood and near the Indonesian Hospital close to the Jabalia refugee camp.
In a related context, Palestinian medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported that 245 people have been killed and 623 injured since the ceasefire agreement took effect, casting further doubt on the true commitment to ending military operations.
