Satellite Images Reveal Israeli Desecration of Allied War Graves in Gaza; British and Australian Remains Disturbed

New satellite imagery and field testimonies have exposed extensive damage to the "Gaza War Cemetery" in the Tuffah neighborhood, where soldiers from the UK, Australia, and Canada from both World Wars are interred. According to The Guardian, Israeli heavy machinery leveled entire rows of headstones to create sand berms, particularly affecting sections holding the remains of over 100 Australian and British servicemen who fell during battles with Ottoman forces.

While former cemetery caretakers described the two-stage bulldozing as deliberate leveling of the site, the IDF claimed the area was an "active battlefield." An Israeli military spokesperson stated that "terrorist infrastructure" was found beneath the cemetery, justifying the "operational measures." However, the stark contrast between the untouched grass of the past and the current barren wasteland has sparked international outrage over the treatment of historical military burial sites.
