Southern Lebanon on the Brink: Israel Issues Evacuation Orders for 11 Towns Amid Deadly Airstrikes

The Israeli military issued urgent evacuation warnings on Sunday, May 3, 2026, for residents of 11 towns and villages across Southern Lebanon. Casualties in Shukin and Systematic Destruction On the ground, the situation has turned increasingly lethal. Israeli warplanes targeted the town of Shukin, resulting in several deaths and injuries, including the killing of the town’s mayor, Hussein Ali Ahmed. Reports from Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) confirmed that an entire residential neighborhood was leveled.
