The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) secured significant field gains in the country's southeastern and southern regions, taking full control of the "Al-Sillak" area in the Blue Nile region and "Habila" in South Kordofan. These advances followed the repelling of a coordinated assault by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and the SPLM-North (Al-Hilu faction) targeting strategic positions near the border with South Sudan.

Military sources confirmed that the attacking forces retreated to their main strongholds after suffering heavy losses. These operations coincide with reports of logistics arriving via the Ethiopian border. As the war nears its third year, the humanitarian situation remains dire, with the UN reporting over 10 million displaced and 26 million people facing acute food insecurity across Sudan.
