In a defiant stance following the appointment of the new Supreme Leader, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told NBC News on Sunday that Iran officially rejects any calls for a ceasefire in the Middle East. Araghchi emphasized that Tehran is committed to "continuing the fight for its people and security," labeling new truce proposals as "unacceptable" and ineffective, citing the breach of the 12-day ceasefire that ended last year’s hostilities.

Russian Intelligence and Strategic Coordination Araghchi confirmed that cooperation with Russia is ongoing and multifaceted.
