The Financial Times reported on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, that Iran’s IRGC covertly utilized a high-resolution Chinese satellite, the TEE-01B, to pinpoint U.S. military bases during the recent conflict. With a resolution of 0.5 meters—ten times more precise than Iran's domestic "Noor-3" system—the satellite allowed Tehran to track aircraft movements and verify strike success.

Trump's Ultimatum:
While Beijing dismissed the report as "malicious rumors," President Donald Trump warned of "big problems" for China following intelligence reports that Beijing is preparing to ship advanced air defense systems to Iran via third-party countries. The Pentagon is reportedly analyzing satellite coordinates that prove the IRGC directed the Chinese-made craft to monitor key military sites.
